While investors debate what the Fed's current bias towards interest rates is, there is no denying the fact that on a global basis, central banks are in a tightening mode. We looked at the interest rate policy of 52 countries and found that for 41 of them, their last move was a hike in interest rates (red shading), while a cut has only been the most recent move for eleven (green shading).
This looks mysteriously like a world map that appeared on tickersense a little while ago.
