Making $561,000,000 in one stock on the Friday before the long Memorial Day weekend is a good way to start the summer, right? Sears Holdings (SHLD) is currently up $8.50 on the day after reporting better than expected earnings after the close yesterday. Eddie Lampert and his hedge fund own just over 66 million shares of SHLD, which represents more than 50% of the company. Multiply 66 million by $8.50 and you have the $561 million number we mentioned earlier. Lampert has definitely had his fair share of struggles with Sears, but today he has to be feeling good.
