Idiot's Guide to Improving Your Credit Score

We were recently at a local Target and saw a nice piece of anecdotal evidence that provides a bit of comic relief for the current state of our economy.  We snapped a photo with our poor-quality camera phone.  As shown below, at the top of the gossip magazines in the checkout-line display rests The Complete Idiot's Guide to Improving Your Credit Score.  When this is front and center at the checkout line, you know things are bad.  While we didn't open the book to read it, we might suggest that it start out with:

1) We hope you didn't charge this book.

2) We hope you didn't charge the National Enquirer either.
