MSFT Earnings After the Close
For the seemingly few that are interested in Microsoft's earnings after the close, below we highlight the company's historical quarterly reports going back to the fourth quarter of 2001. As shown, MSFT has beaten eps and revenue estimates 71% of the time, while guiding higher 20% of the time. The average change on the first trading day following all reports has been a decline of 30 bps. When they have missed estimates, the stock has declined an average of 3.05%.

Great job by Microsoft. Halo 3 and I suspect (for next quarter) Facebook really helped them end on a very positive note. If Microsoft ever wants to catch up with Google then the Directors need more successful products like Halo 3 and more aggressive deals like Facebook.
